In-Home Sales Representative

Molly Maid of Surrounding Richmond is growing, and we’re looking for an In-Home Sales Representative to turn interested homeowners into loyal, recurring customers.

Every lead is a warm lead. These are homeowners who have already reached out to us and want help. No cold calling, ever. Your job is to follow up fast, visit their home for an estimate, build trust, and close the sale.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to new leads within minutes by phone, text, and email
• Book, confirm, and conduct in-home estimates using the company car
• Present our services and sign up recurring cleaning customers
• Follow up with people who need time to decide
• Schedule one-time cleans (move-in, move-out, special occasions) and follow up to turn them into recurring customers
• Keep every lead and customer record up to date in our scheduling system
• Help with launch, laundry, and office tasks as needed
• Other duties as assigned

This Role Is a Fit If You...

• Love talking with people and can build trust quickly
• Stay calm and positive when a customer is upset
• Are comfortable handling objections and asking for the sale
• Follow up without being reminded
• Are motivated by clear goals and earning more when you beat them

This Role Is NOT a Fit If You...

• Are uncomfortable going into customers’ homes
• Give up after the first “no” or “let me think about it”
• Take it personally when a customer is frustrated
• Need someone to tell you who to call next
• Want remote work (this role is fully in person)

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales, customer service, or in-home consultation experience
• Clear, confident communicator in person and on the phone
• Comfortable with scheduling or CRM software
• Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check
• Home services, retail, or appointment-based sales experience a plus

What We Offer

• $17/hour plus a monthly bonus: $100–$150 for every new recurring customer you bring on beyond the monthly goal
• Warm, inbound leads. No cold calling.
• Use of a company car for in-home estimates (no wear and tear or gas on your own vehicle)
• 5 paid days off per year
• Full-time, weekdays 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No nights.
